Winter Wassail

Winter Wassail

One of the most beloved traditions of the winter season is the wassail – a warm spiced drink given to carolers and other visitors. The word originated from the Anglo-Saxon “wes hal”, which means “be well”. We’ll celebrate with a musical toast in the Tuft Theater at Swallow Hill on Dec. 7 with traditional and Renaissance tunes with special guests Michael Stanwood on digeridoo and autoharp, and Ravay Snow on hammered dulcimer. Tickets available here.

Kindred Spirits to play Edgewater Festival

We are excited to be playing at the Edgewater Celtic Harvest Festival this year! The Festival runs Sept. 21 and 22 in Edgewater, CO. We’ll be looking to add a little Renaissance perspective to the event as we open on Sunday morning. There will also be plenty of other great local bands, as well as celtic games, food, and other vendors.
